L’astro­naute Sophie Ade­not est sor­tie dans l’espace
Sophie Adenot est devenue la première Française à sortir dans l’espace, le 18 août. Pendant 6 heures et 23 minutes, avec l’Américain Anil Menon, elle a démonté une antenne de l’ISS, la Station spatiale internationale. Les 2 astronautes n’ont pas eu le temps d’installer l’antenne de rechange. Une nouvelle sortie d’astronautes de l’ISS est prévue aujourd’hui. On ne savait pas, au moment de l’écriture de cet article, si Sophie Adenot allait y participer.

Astro­naut Sophie Adenot has gone out into space
Sophie Adenot became the first French woman to go out into space, on August 18th. For 6 hours and 23 minutes, with the Amer­ican Anil Menon, she dis­mantled an antenna of the ISS, the Inter­na­tional Space Sta­tion. The 2 astro­nauts did not have time to install the spare antenna. A new release of astro­nauts from the ISS is sched­uled today. We didn’t know, at the time of writ­ing this art­icle, if Sophie Adenot would par­ti­cip­ate.
